ONE DIRECTION

One Direction (commonly abbreviated as 1D) are an English-Irish pop boy band based in London, composed of Niall HoranLiam PayneHarry StylesLouis Tomlinson, and previously, Zayn Malik until his departure from the band on 25 March 2015. The group signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor in 2010. Propelled to international success by social media, One Direction's four albums, Up All Night (2011), Take Me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013) and Four (2014) topped charts in most major markets, and generated hit singles including "What Makes You Beautiful", "Live While We're Young", "Story of My Life" and "Steal My Girl".
Their achievements include five Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, eleven MTV Europe Music Awards, and nineteen Teen Choice Awards out of nineteen nominations, among many others. According to Nick Gatfield, the chairman and chief executive of Sony Music Entertainment UK, One Direction represented a $50 million business empire by June 2012. They were proclaimed 2012's "Top New Artist" by Billboard. According to the Sunday Times Rich List, by April 2013, they had an estimated personal combined wealth of £25 million ($41.2m) making them the second-wealthiest musicians in the UK under 30 years of age. In 2014,Forbes listed them the second-highest earning celebrities under 30, with the group earning an estimated $75 million from June 2013 to June 2014.
After the release of Four, One Direction became the first band in the U.S. Billboard 200 history to have their first four albums debut at number one. Their third album, Midnight Memories, was the biggest-selling album worldwide of 2013 despite being released in late November. In 2014, Billboard named One Direction Artist of the Year.The band will temporarily go on hiatus in March 2016 following their fifth album for a year to pursue solo careers.

Sunidhi Chauhan, Awesome Playback Singer Ever....

Sunidhi Chauhan is one of the most popular Indian playback singers and performers today, best known for her Hindi film songs in Bollywood.

She has an amazing talent. She has a lot of variations in her voice.

Sunidhi Chauhan is an Indian playback singer, who is famous for her songs in Bollywood. She has also recorded songs for Oriya, Punjabi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Assamese and Nepali films. She first got recognized through the music show Meri Aawaz Suno. She entered into the world of playback singing with the 1996 Bollywood film, Shastra. Later she sang for the films like Gang, Veergati, Dahek, Bade Dilwala, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat and Samar. Just at the age of nineteen, Chauhan had lent her voice to over 350 songs. She made her International debut with the song Heartbeat, a collaboration with Enrique Iglesias.

Biography

Sunidhi Chauhan was born as Nidhi Chauhan on 14 August 1983 in New Delhi. She has completed her schooling in Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden in Delhi. She has participated in several singing compititions during her school days. She appeared on a special episode of the singing contest, Star Voice of India. She appeared on the Femina Miss India 2011 contest and X-factor India to promote her song 'Heartbeat'. She has noted that one of her ambitions is to achieve global fame.

The Voice India is a singing reality show which airs on &Tv. Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Himesh Reshammiya and Mika are the judges in the show. The contestants are chosen through blind auditions. Here, only a good voice can take you forward and not how you present yourself. Sunidhi has gone under a complete makeover for the show. She has lost so much weight for her new avatar.

Shreya, A Great Singer of the Time!

Shreya Ghoshal  was born on 12th March 1984 in Berhampore, West Bengal, India,  to bengali parents, Sh. Bishwajit Ghoshal and Smt. Sarmistha Ghoshal. She spent her first three months of her life in her birth place in West Bengal, then she moved to a place called Rawatbhata near Kota,   Rajasthan, where her   father, who is an Electronics Engineer, was posted.  She has spent  first thirteen years of formative part of her life there and completed her schooling up to Eighth Standard, in Atomic Energy Central School, Rawatbhata.


Initiation of the Musical Odyssey
Life at Rawatbhata was simple, pristine, unpolluted, far from madding rush of a city. There used to be cultural programmes and social gatherings very often. Her mother is a singer and both of her parents are very much culturally inclined and they were very much involved with all those cultural activities. During those activities, as a small child she picked up her first lessons of music. She used to hum the same songs with her immature words whatever her mother sang during rehearsals. It is during those days her potentials of singing was discovered by her parents.
At the age of 4, she started learning music, mainly Bengali songs, from her first Guru – her mother. She gave her first stage performance at their club’s annual function. At the age of 6, she started getting formal training in Hindustani Classical Music. She learnt Classical Hindustani Music from Rakesh Sharmaji of Kota, Shri Jayawardhan Bhatnagar, her school's music teacher and thereafter, from Mahesh Chandra Sharmaji of Kota. She got her intial exposure to hindi film songs and rajasthani folk from Shri Bhatnagar. She received training in playback singing from Padmashree Late Kalyanji Bhai at later stage. After shifting to Mumbai she continued her training in Classical Hindustani Music with Late Mukta Bhideji.



Milestones
1995 She won the All India Light Vocal Music Competition, New Delhi, organised by Sangam Kala Group, in Light Vocal group in sub-junior level. Eminent judges Kalyanji-Anandji and Pt.Rajan & Sajan Mishra judged her at various stages. Her first TV performance followed this. It was a programme called “Awaz Nayi Andaz Wohi” in EL TV. This was her first experience in studio recording.
1996 She was selected for 75th Children’s Special Episode of TVS Sa Re Ga Ma, which she won. Later on she won various other episodes of TVS Sa Re Ga Ma the last one being the Megafinal judged by exceptional panel of judges comprising of Ustat Vilayet Khan, Anil Biswasji, Girija Deviji, Pandit Ram Narain, Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma and Ustad Zakir Hussain.
1998 She started recording in regional languages (Marathi, Bengali, etc.).
2000 Sanjay Bhansaliji and music director Ismail Darbarji selected her for playbacking for Paro played by Aishwarya Rai, in DEVDAS.
2002 She was launched as playback singer with the release of DEVDAS music.
Miles to go and Promises to Keep…
After Devdas, she has been continuously working and recording songs with many music directors. She has recorded film songs not only in Hindi but also in Assamesse, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Gujrarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Nepali, Oriya, Tamil, Telegu, etc.
